There is a somewhat overwhelming number of restaurants to choose from in Cumbria. Most offer decent
sustenance, but not all will serve you a meal you’ll remember at a
price that corresponds with the quality of the food. We hope this
review section will help you find an eatery that you’ll enjoy.
The Criteria
We assess restaurants from 1 to 5 on these qualities:
• Great atmosphere
• Home cooked fresh food
• Plenty of flavour
• Good value for money
• Service with a smile
