John Natlacen (above), owner of the excellent speciality shop Churchmouse Cheeses, is one of the organisers behind the brand new Fork Fest 2010, a celebration of local food, ale and gardening taking place in Kirkby Lonsdale on September 4–5. The weekend festival will include music, demos, food sampling, an ale trail and plenty of entertainment, according to the organisers. Focus is on buying local, and with children’s food related workshops going throughout the weekend, we’re definitely in!
