Well it was a bit of a wet start to today,when I arrived at Lucy cooks in Staveley there was 2" of water all over the floor of the school and gallons more pouring in through the ceiling,
We rallied together all the builders from the mill yard and they where all soon hard at work with the brushes and mops after a couple of hours we had it all cleaned up and hopefully the damage is minimal,
On a better note I got to meet Karen Bentley and Bill Clifford of the westmorland damson association
I'm going to be putting together recipes and suggestions using the fantastic damsons of both the Lyth and winster valleys so keep your eye's on www.nickofthyme.co.uk as I will be publishing all the recipes on that site for you all to try,
