Well what a fantastic day today is turning out to be,
I got a phone call this morning from john anderson at made in cumbria to tell me that i have been booked to appear alongside Jean-Christophe Novelli at the Rheged food festival this sunday 8th october,
I can't wait as he is a chef whom i have admired for years now,
As far as the rest of today goes, i've got an evening cooking demo at lucy cooks in staveley,
The demo is titled " Pot Luck "
I've got to make dishes to order from duck breasts, pork loin, chicken supremes and halibut fillets,
a bit like a " ready steady cook "
then on wednesday and thursday we are doing " food in a hurry " and " meatless feasts "
so its another busy week ahead,
