the first day back at work after a holiday is allways the worst.
Home now, and I wish I was still back in the greek Islands, dream,dream,dream,
Wakey wakey.....
Oh well it was fantastic but yes it's back to normality and of course work,
yet what a day to come back to, I'm going to be working with Annette gibbons at lucy's cookery school and the Cumbria Life Dining Club,
I've been at the school all day preparing food for them for tommorow night,
I've made croutes with a mousseline of salmon,cod,ginger and lemon,
roasted vegetables and lemon scented balsamic syrup to go on bruschettas,
Dolmades of vine leaves filled with minced lamb,mint,coriander,garlic and parsley,
Aubergine canelloni filled with goats cheese, rosemary,shallots and parmesan,
brown shrimps baked in lime cups with coriander and cream cheese,
I've even filled pork loin dobs filled with prunes and mango chutney, then wrapped them with pancetta ready to be roasted,
it does'nt sound so bad now having to come back to work and I did this all on my first day back,
sometimes you are just comfortable with what you do eh ?
