Have you seen the advert on TV with the spice girls at Christmas,

Well thats what it will be like in my house this year,

My Wife and daughter want a traditional turkey with all the trimmings,

My youngest son wants a lobster cocktail to start with and then a roast duck,

My oldest son wants carpaccio to start with and then roast beef and yorkshire puddungs,

I'll basicly go with all the above, yet i'm only the cook,

I'll give them a christmas suprise,

Kippers with mashed potatoes and mushy peas,

"they'll certainly be suprised"

I'm working at the swan hotel in grasmere all over christmas, with only christmas day off,

so i'll make the most of it and have a ball,

I've written my christmas list and if I don't get the Ferrari, The time machine, Halle Berry and kelly Brook

well i'll be just as happy with the socks, dodgy sweaters and the nasal hair clippers,
