Finally i can put my feet up and chill for a few weeks.
I'm leaving ambleside at 2 am tommorow morning to catch the 07.30am flight to fuerta ventura,
I've been looking forward to this for 3 months now, 2 weeks in the sun,
total rest and relaxation, and maybe a dip in the pool and a few cold beers,
the past 3 months have been manic, I've been whacked out at the cookery school with courses and corporate events,
alongside pulling the double shifts at the Old England hotel in bowness,
but it's been worth it,
i'll return all refreshed and ready to do it again,
see you in a few weeks,
Nick...... |

Ohhh Man, I had to come back home sometime, but i will return to the islands in the very near future,
We had a fantastic fortnight, sailing catamarans around Lanzarote, Grand canaria and tenerife, fishing for mullet and snapper off the harbopur at fuerta blanca,
eating delicious seafood straight from the daily catch, I bought a 3kg bag of mussels for 3euros and they where the juiciest, most tasty mussels i've ever had,
But now i'm back home and banging away in the culinary underbelly again,
I went to Tatton Park yesterday to do the festival with the cookery school, bumped into my old mate Simon Rimmer,
and then drove back in monsoon conditions, to be glad to get home is an understatement,
see you all soon,
and it is nice to be back,
Nick.....
